This is an event for the whole family!

Our beloved event promotes school spirit, physical fitness, and a sense of accomplishment for the students. This year, it’s all about celebration for the Bennett Valley Alliance of Parents and Teachers (BVAPT) as they continue to support the students, teachers and staff of Bennett Valley Union School District.

After collecting donations from family and friends, students will walk the track at their school during the school day on September 25.

Then at 4:30pm, the Wild West Afterparty starts with fun for the whole family! Enjoy music, arcade game trailer, basketball pop shot trailer, jump house, carnival games, prizes, dunk tank, face painting, tattoos, local food, and more! During the event students can participate in walking around the track to earn prizes.

The Walk-a-thon helps BVAPT fund programs such as: field trips, assemblies, library, technology, computers, teacher stipends, playground equipment, and much more!

Tickets for the fun zone will be available for purchase presale OR at the Wild West After Party. Cash, card, and PayPal will be accepted at the event. Wristbands for unlimited access to the fun zone are $20 each. Individual tickets to the fun zone and Carnival Games are $2 each.

The Teacher Experience, Class Pizza Parties, and Birthday Marquee auction bidding starts September 22. Bidding online is easy when you click to visit the auction site! Bidding ends on September 28 at noon. Exciting auction items ranging from a pottery session, to a walk to Baskin Robins for ice cream – and many other teacher experiences guaranteed to delight and surprise. We have also added 1 class pizza party per grade, as well as wishing your favorite students a happy birthday on the school marquee for online bidding.

September 11
Look out for two important emails about online pledges and ways that you can help with the Walkathon.

September 11-October 4
Collect donations/pledges! Share the pledge request via email, Facebook, and Twitter and/or collect paper pledges (pick up in the school office). Don’t forget to sign-up to volunteer.

September 25
Walkathon for all BVUSD students during the school day. Wild West After Party from 4:30–7:30pm!

September 21-28
Teacher and school experiences online bidding.

October 4
Last day to collect online pledges.
